Tutoring Services
Does the Fulton Engineering Tutoring Centers support ASU Online students and student studying off campus?
The FSETC has a Virtual Tutoring program that supports all courses that are tutored in-person. Questions for online tutoring are accepted up to ONE hour prior to closing of the centers. More information can be found at Virtual Tutoring.
I heard there are multiple locations for the Fulton Schools of Engineering Tutoring Centers, where can I find one close to me?
What hours are the tutoring centers open?
The hours for each tutoring center is location and semester specific, but tutoring services are generally offered during times during the following times.
Fall and Spring
Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 10a.m. – 5 p.m.
Summer
Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

How can I find out if the tutoring center tutors a course I am taking?
We offer tutoring in a wide variety of Fulton Schools undergraduate courses and programs. To check if a tutor is available for your specific course, please visit the Tutor Schedule at any time.
What can the tutoring center help me with?
We can help you with any homework assignments and general conceptual questions you may have. However we will not solve problems for you. We are here to guide you to the answer. Additionally, we cannot help you in any capacity on exams. For more specific policies please refer to the FSE tutoring center policies page.
Do I need to make an appointment for tutoring?
Appointments are not needed to recieve support at the Fulton Schools of Engineering Tutoring Centers. Tutoring is offered on a first come, first serve basis, using an electronic queue system. Students can access the queue through our website.
How much does it cost to recieve tutoring?
Tutoring thorugh the Fulton Schools of Engineering Tutoring Centers is free of charge to ASU students. There is no limit to the number of questions submitted or the number of times you can visit our centers.

Can the tutoring center help me prepare for exams?
Yes, we have course and exam reviews sessions and workshops every week in high demand courses and programs scheduled throughout the semester. Please visit our calendar for the most up to date schedule of workshops and review sessions.
I am struggling with developing good study habits, does the tutoring center provide any services that can help me with this?
Yes, each night from Sunday – Thursday, we offer have the Success Nights tutoring program, offering academic support and homework assistance to students in key first and second year Fulton Schools of Engineering courses. Can I receive private tutoring?
Unfortunately we do not offer private tutoring to students. However, our tutors are allowed to accept private tutoring jobs outside our centers. For general inquiries about finding a private tutor please contact us at [email protected].

What if I just want help practicing problems or cannot make the hours that the Tutoring Centers are open?
You can visit and subscribe to our YouTube channel Fulton Schools Tutoring, where we regularly upload videos. You will find Tutors covering and walking you through example problems on frequently requested concepts.
I forgot my laptop, textbook, or calculator and I need it to study, where can I borrow one?
Our in-person centers have computers/laptops, calculators and a selection of high demand textbooks available to borrow while studying in our centers. To request one, please have your Sun Card ready and speak with a Tutor or staff member on duty.
